The insertion of the screw locks the external knurls into the wall of the hole. Provides excellent thread durability but where maximum strength is required other inserts shown in this catalogue should be preferred.

Nuts - Well (Relevance 1/10)
Flanged neoprene bushing with a brass machine nut moulded into one end. Tightening a conventional machine screw threaded in a brass nut causes the insert to expand, making a secure fastening. 1. Place the Well Nut® insert all the way into a pre-drilled hole until the flange is firmly against the mounting surface. 2. Pass machine screw through part to be fastened and tighten until snug.
