Paint | |
Paints - Standard Spray - Tamiya (Relevance 4/10)
Cans of spray paint suitable for painting static models.
Tamiya spray colours provide an impressive finish to static models. When painting figures with a brush, it can be difficult to get paint into creases such as on faces and fabric. Using spray paint is a sure way to get a smooth, even finish. They are also extremely useful for painting large surfaces. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is enough to fully cover 2 or 3, 1/24 scale sized car bodies. The paint is a synthetic lacquer that cures in a short period of time. Tamiya spray paints are not affected by acrylic or enamel paints. Therefore, following the painting of the entire assembly, details can be added or picked out using enamel and/or acrylic paints. By combining three different paints, the decoration of plastic models will become simpler and more effective.

Single Row Radial Ball Bearings. Not all bearings are readily available. Please enquire. Miniature sizes from 1mm bore to over 50mm bore.
|
Bearings - High Speed Cage (Relevance 1/10)
Bearings with cages for high speed applications, including phenolic, nylon and polyamide.
Bearings in this listing have various types of high speed cages. Speed ratings range from 20 percent to 80 percent increase on standard cage types. Please contact us for a data sheet on the specific size you require.
|
Bearings - Specialty | |
Bearings - Ball - Single Row - Radial - Unflanged - High Precision (Relevance 1/10)
Stainless and Chrome Steel Bearings - Abec 5 and Abec 7.
Single Row Radial Ball Bearings. Miniature sizes from 1mm bore to over 50mm bore. Not all bearings are readily available. Please enquire. True high precision bearings are not recommended for skates or fishing reels. High precision bearings are used in accurately balanced application such as spindles, gyros and medical equipment. If your application is not of a precision nature, standard bearings may be more suitable (and less expensive).

Bearings - Ceramic Hybrid (Relevance 1/10)
Steel Races with Si3N4 Ceramic Balls
Bearings with steel races and ceramic balls. For standard bearings, the balls are usually one of the first components to show wear. Ceramic balls are harder than steel and do not wear as easily.
|

Clamping and Locking | |
Shaftloc-tm Simple Type M (Relevance 1/10)
Simple effective way to lock components onto shafts.
Passivated 416 Stainless Steel Simple two part screw together system locks parts securely to shaft. Asymetric thread geometry produces a large radial clamping force when the nut is tightened Precision, dynamically balanced and suitable for high speed applications. Diameters A and B concentric within 0.013 T.I.R. Tightening the nut causes slotted sleeve to contract, gripping the shaft and clamping the component to the sleeve.
|
Shaftloc-tm Sleeves - Single Ended (Relevance 1/10)
Simple effective way to lock components onto shafts.
416 Stainless Steel Simple two part screw together system locks parts securely to shaft. Asymetric thread geometry produces a large radial clamping force when the nut is tightened

Couplings | |
Couplings - Jaw Type - With Polyurethane Spider (Relevance 1/10)
Miniature aluminium curved jaw flexible couplings. 2 to 160 Nm.
Discs (either red as standard with blue or white optional) are available to purchase separately. Flexible couplings transmit torque and rotational angle while absorbing misalignment. When the misalignment exceeds allowable values, vibration may result or the life of the coupling may become shortened. Zero backlash in low torque application, made capable by having the hubs pressed in a spacer. Can be used as a flexible coupling in a high torque application.
