Excellent abrasion, shock and fatigue resistance. Excellent radiation resistance and electrical properties. Heat-resistant temperature: 180 Degrees Celcius (UL approved temperature). Excellent flame-resistance cleared by UL standard 94V-0. Useful for hot-water pumps, chemical pumps, chemical-resistant applications such as FPD (Flat Panel Display) and semiconductor production equipment/devices, printed circuit board etching devices, metal plating equipment and chemical plants. Use with a nut to compensate for thread moulding pitch errors. When a nut is not used, it is recommended that the overlap of mating screw threads be shorter than 20mm. Material : Brass. Easiest inserts to install - simply push into a pre-moulded hole. Used with plastics or other materials. Material must be strong enough to withstand the expansion of the insert. The insertion of the screw locks the external knurls into the wall of the hole. Provides excellent thread durability but where maximum strength is required other inserts shown in this catalogue should be preferred.

Nuts - Aerotight (Relevance 1/10)
Aerotight is a Registered Trademark and can only be applied to goods manufactured by the Premier Screw and Repetition Company Limited. Any company infringing the registered trade mark may be liable to legal proceedings. Aerotight nuts should not be used on damaged or interrupted threads. When assembled on the screw at least two threads should protrude through the Aerotight nut. Advantages: Will not work loose. No other locking device needed.

Manufactured from A2 302/304 grade stainless steel. The standard Binx's entire locking action is contained within the nut body which is no thicker than a standard full nut. The ingenious design incorporates two opposing cantilever type springs which lock onto the bolt with inward and downward pressure. May be removed and placed repeatedly with minimum thread wear.
