Nitrile rubber has a basic temperature range of -30oC to 100oC. It is an economic material with a high resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbon oils and fuels, but poor resistance to aromatic oils. Different grades are available. The higher the acrylonitrile (ACN) content, the higher the oil resistance but the poorer the resistance to low temperature. It has high resilience, high wear resistance, moderate strength and limited weathering resistance.
