Hitch Pins

Also known as R-Clip (Internal Type)

Internal type
Hitch Pins The long straight arm of the internal hitch pin (R-Clip) is designed to pass through a hole in a shaft with the other arm passing around the curved surface of the shaft. This provides a relatively inprecise but simple method for locating parts on a shaft. The double coil type provides greater strength and rigidity of the pin.


External type
External Pins The external hitch pin is designed to seat within a groove on the shaft similar to the way a circlip locates, but with less precision. Compared to a circlip, the external hitch pin is easy to apply and remove.
